Happy New Year!!???
Jan. 7th, 2009 01:13 pmMy husband called me this morning from the road, just to let me know where he is, and let how his day is going.
His breakfast call this morning came from a truck stop on I-81 affectionately known as "Miniskirt Junction". Seems the owner had a metal barrel by the side of the building that he used to burn paper trash. He had this barrel sitting next to one of those little sheds where people keep their gardening tools. Husband looked up from his cup of coffee to see that the guy had set the shed on fire with flames coming from the barrel.
He hollered at the waitress that they better call the fire department and then sat back to watch the circus.
Luckily the shed was far enough from the main building that they all just stood around and watched it burn.
