As a child in the late 1930’s, Carmen P. Rodrigeuz trained at the traditional Spiritualist Temple operated by her father in Cuba, and continues her spiritualist work to this day. She is a Lukumi priestess of 42 years to the Orisha Yemaya, and a founding member of The Church of the Lukumi Babalu Aye.

La Caridad y Rodriguez invites everyone to a Spiritual Reunion. Providing translation will be Oba Oriate Ernesto Pichardo, Lukumi Elder and president of The Church of the Lukumi Babalu Aye.

We ask when you join us tonight that you have a glass of water, a white candle, and a small bunch of white flowers. If you are a practicing espiritista, medium, or spiritualist be sure to prepare as you would for a Misa or seance. Cover your head with a white scarf. Leave your lights on in your living space, and if you are prone to getting lost among the spirits, listen to the show with a friend to help keep you grounded.
